Located in the Lingang Bay Film and Television Cultural Industry Zone of the Qingdao West Coast New Area, this bridge serves as a vital access route to the Star Island of the Oriental Movie Metropolis. With a total length of 290 meters and a deck width of 36 meters, it features six lanes in two directions and adopts a six-span, two-unit continuous steel box girder
structure.
The bridge deck incorporates a three-dimensional curved coral-arch steel structure, reflecting the marine cultural characteristics of Qingdao. The design embodies the symbolic spirit of coral—representing auspiciousness, wisdom, safety, and beauty—into the image and character of the landscape bridge. The decorative arches resemble the curved shape of seashells, creating a "pearl-holding" posture. The hollowed texture of the bridge body is an artistic, simplified, and abstract outline of the coral's form. The overall design is sleek, fluid, and deeply meaningful, symbolizing a blooming "Coral Shell" on the West Coast.
