The Yancheng TV Tower is located in the core area of the Yan'an High-tech District in Yancheng, on the south side of Julong Lake Park, adjacent to the Yancheng Cultural and Arts Center, Golden Eagle Outlets City, and European-style Street. It not only serves as a television transmission center but has also been developed into a comprehensive complex integrating sightseeing, leisure, and entertainment. It is the only TV tower in China with a fully glass curtain wall structure among tower-type buildings and has been honored with the National Steel Structure Gold Award.
The main tower stands at a height of 195 meters and consists of four parts: the base, the tower body, the sightseeing and leisure area, and the broadcast antenna. The three-story base, approximately 16.8 meters high, includes an entrance lobby and an exhibition area.
The tower body is composed of stacked and staggered blocks resembling assembled salt crystals. The sightseeing area covers a total area of about 800 square meters and includes an aerial observation hall, a high-end landscape restaurant, and a skywalk corridor.
Additionally, an underground floor spanning 1,800 square meters houses television broadcasting facilities, offices, maintenance rooms, and other auxiliary spaces for management. Surrounding the main tower plaza, a circular leisure and commercial area has been set up to meet the daily leisure, shopping, and dining needs of residents.
