Located at No. 551 Haicang Avenue, Haicang District, Xiamen, Fujian Province, China, the Xiamen Center Building is a key project for both Fujian Province and Xiamen City. With a total construction area of approximately 610,000 square meters and an investment of about 7.5 billion yuan, it comprises six buildings in total, including four 5A-grade office towers and two international platinum five-star and four-star hotels. The complex integrates diverse formats such as office spaces, shopping centers, luxury hotels, and the Xiamen Water Show.
The architectural design of the Xiamen Center Building was led by Mr. Cui Kai, winner of the Fourth Liang Sicheng Award, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and vice president of the China Architecture Design and Research Group. Inspired by the design concept of "Dialogue Between Mountain and Sea," it embodies Xiamen's characteristic as a "Garden on the Sea." The overall architectural silhouette resembles ocean tides or layered sails, reflecting the grandeur of the "sea," while the terraced setbacks, reminiscent of rice paddies, provide natural sea-viewing platforms, conveying the majesty of "mountains."
