Central Plains Sunac Cultural Tourism City, also known as Xinxiang Cultural Tourism Centre, is a theme park project developed by Sunac Cultural Tourism Group. With a total investment of 5 billion yuan and a construction area of approximately 200,000 square meters, the project encompasses eight major themed zones: Snow World, Ice Paradise, Water World, Lakeside Commercial Town, Lake Island Hotel Cluster, Sports Park, Waterfront Show Theater, and Water Sports.
The architectural design boldly features nine clustered and dispersed cubes arranged into three groups, with large-scale building blocks resembling ice cubes resting on the tranquil waterscape. The lighting design, crafted by PROL Light Stone, follows the design philosophy of "exploring the hidden value of light," outlining an urban artistic landmark that evokes the sensation of ice and snow in the Central Plains region.
Inspired by Frozen, the lighting design captures the dreamy color palette of the theme, creating a blue-and-white polar ice and snow world as well as a magical Frozen-inspired wonderland. Breaking away from the traditional cold white tones of ice and snow, the lighting expands into richer colors, conveying the romance, refinement, and joy of the ice and snow world.
